What the GAMSAT actually tests
GAMSAT is three sections and 5 hours 15 minutes of working time: Section I reasoning in humanities and social sciences (62 questions), Section II written communication (two 30-minute essays) and Section III reasoning in biological and physical sciences (75 questions, roughly 40% biology, 40% chemistry, 20% physics). Almost none of it rewards recall — it rewards controlled reasoning on unfamiliar stimulus.
